Hawa Tarawally
The first time I met Hawa was at the first Student Orientation Leader training at the beginning of 2018. My first impression of her was that she is very intellectual. She gives you the vibes that she loves deep conversations. I remember that first day of training she was one of the first people that said hi to me when I walked in. She also had her longboard, which I think is amazing that she can ride it; I can't even stand on one.

Hawa is majoring in Economics and minoring in International Affairs. She loves politics, Taylor Swift, and Angelina Jolie. I have never seen someone love Angelina so much. I hope Hawa gets to one day meet her; I know that will be the best day of her life. Hawa also enjoys talking about countries and international topics. The Latinx Film Festival this past Tuesday was the day that I got to really bond with Hawa. It was a lot of fun and I got to know so much about her, also my favorite memory with her.

I know that wherever life takes Hawa, she will be extremely successful. She is such an organized and serious person, whether it is academics or being an ambassador. I can't wait to see what she will do in the next 10 years. Hawa is planning on transferring to Clifton campus to get her bachelor's and maybe wants to work at the White House. I will make sure in the near future that she watches Coco; Hawa you are missing out.
