This week was a lot of firsts. My first week of being a sophmore, my first time parking in faculty (literally the best thing ever!), my first time taking classes at Clifton, and my first week of being a Student Ambassador. It was amazing being back! I loved seeing all my friends. I also loved seeing a lot of freshmen from my orientation groups that recognized me.

School: So far I like all my professors and my classes. I'm at Blue Ash on Monday, Wednesday , Friday. And I'm at Clifton Tuesday and Thursday. Clifton is so different than Blue Ash. There were 200 students in my Organic Chemistry lecture! It's so weird having professors not know who you are. Luckily, I have friends in all my classes, and made a lot of new ones!

Student Ambassador: This week was a busy week! I started off my Monday with working the first welcome desk shift of the week. Even though it was stressful; I really enjoyed it. I helped students find their classes and buildings, answered phone calls, transferred phone calls (the first one I hung up one while I was transferring whoops), and greeted students. Later that day, I had a meeting with Dr. Gioelli about the Honors Program Liaison position. So I would be helping organize events and helping recruit the new Honors ambassadors. Tuesday I helped with Bling Your Binder. It was so awesome that so many students came to decorate a binder. There were 95 students in those two hours! On Wednesday I did a Prospective Tour in the rain (luckily it only rained in the last part of the tour; in which I was too lazy to open an umbrella). But it was a very small group. It was a future student and his mom, so it was a private tour. On Friday I helped with Wear Red, Get Fed. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was so excited getting pizza that every now and then freshmen would ask if this is really free.

Everywhere I went freshmen would ask me where their class is, what clubs to join, and stuff around this campus. It impacted me because I saw how much freshmen need our support. This is a new environment for them and thus they don't know what's happening. I feel Student Ambassadors really impact freshmen by helping them feel welcome and answering question.
