This week was a slow week. Work outside of my classes really started building up. When I finished one assignment, there was always another to do. I went to my first concert ever this past week. It was to see Pentatonix. It was such an incredible experience! They sounded exactly the same as their recorded tracks when they sung live. I have never screamed louder in my life! I'm so glad that was my first concert, because it will be unforgettable.
School: I don't think I will ever get used to how much walking I have to do in Clifton. I struggle with so many heavy textbooks and my laptop in my backpack. In Organic Chemistry lab, I broke my test tube and spilled the sample I was working on. The worst part was that it was at the very last step that I lost my sample. So that was extremely frustrating. Besides that, my other classes went well.
Student Ambassador: This week for Ambassador duties was really chill. Since it was labor day, I did not work my shift at the welcome desk. I only worked one event this week. I worked the second half of the resource fair. Kirsten (another ambassador) and I were working the student life table at the fair. The purpose of the fair is for freshmen to learn about the resources that UC Blue Ash offers. So we talked about how to get involved on campus. Mostly everyone's questions were about becoming a SOL or a Student Ambassador. I was so excited to see that so many students wanted to take a huge leadership position to represent the campus. I really hope that all the students I talked to apply to become Student Orientation Leaders, because I thought they all would make an amazing leader!
