I went to Cincy Walks for Kids yesterday at the Paul Brown Stadium. Cincy Walks for Kids is a walkathon raising money for The Cincinnati Children's Hospital. My family has been going for the last couple of years. We have volunteered in the past, but this year we decided to only walk it. My mom works for TEVA Pharmaceuticals, and she always brings a team. It was a lot of fun; we got t-shirts, bandanas, and water bottles! Luckily, the weather was not too hot, which made being outside tolerable.
School: The further we get into the school year, the more work builds up. I had my first Physics Celebration, which is basically a Physics exam. I finally started working on my Pre/Mid Adolescent Development online class. I procrastinate a lot, so I need to make sure not to wait till the last minute since this is an online class. I took an online class in high school called Digital Image Design. It was a full summer course that I literally started a couple of days before the due date. I never left the house those couple of days and I was always on my computer cramming so many art projects. Even though I got an A, it's not going to be that easy for a college online class.
Student Ambassador: On Monday, I had my welcome desk shift. It was so much more chill than the welcome desk shift I worked during the first week of classes, but it was still fun. I like helping people find their classes and answer their questions. I also had my first Ambassador meeting. We talked about required events to sign up for, Ambassador of the Week (which is Hawa!), and other logistics. On Friday, I had a one-to-one with Meghan. She and I just talked about Ambassador stuff and I was able to ask her any questions I had.
