Week 5

It's insane that the 5th week is already up. Why is time flying so fast? I feel like we just started. Yesterday I went to Halloween Haunt at Kings Island. The weather was so nice, except on top of the Windseeker which froze my whole body. I have never seen the park so crowded; there were lines everywhere. Luckily, as the night went on, people started leaving. So we were able to do 4 mazes, 3 scare zones, and 3 rides!

School: This past week of school has been my most stressful week this semester yet. I had my Organic Chemistry exam Thursday so I was so stressed. I stayed over at an apartment that four of my friends live in the night before the exam. It was so much fun experiencing life away from home. Even though my friend and I tried studying O Chem, we ended up sitting around with the other girls talking and watching embarrassing videos we made years ago. After the O Chem exam and O Chem lab (I spilled my sample at the end of lab; second time losing a sample in that lab...) The exam was not as bad as I expected.

Student Ambassador: Monday was a busy day! I started off the week with my 11 am welcome desk shift. It was pretty slow, I got three calls from those fraud insurance companies... After that Maddie (fellow ambassador) and I gave a tour to a student and a faculty member from Operation Give Back. At the end of the tour it started pouring so that was an interesting experience. The faculty member really loved the tour, and she appreciated that we gave up time to do this. I'm so glad that we had such a huge impact on her and the student (he wants to do Nursing at UCBA!). Lastly on Monday, we had our Student Ambassador meeting. We basically got into small groups with an event planner Ambassador and talked about the event we are helping with. I am helping with the end of the semester finals relaxer. On Tuesday Hawa and I once again worked the Latinx Film Festival. The film was 500 anos, and once again we got to work the popcorn machine!
