How are we already more than halfway through the fall semester? It feels like we just started. This week was busy with Ambassador events. On Friday, the SOLs took on Halloween Haunt. It was so much fun. It started out with bad luck. We waited 40 minutes for Firehawk (it's the last season for Firehawk before they demolish it), and we literally got on and we had to get off because of rain. So we waited 20 minutes for the rain to stop. We finally decided to get out of line to do something else. We then went to bumper cars which took forever to start once we got in the cars. After, we went back to Firehawk and there was no line and it was awesome! We also did Backwood Bayou, Urgent Scare, Chaos, and Field of Screams. Field of Screams was my favorite maze that day, there was a section where there were multiple scarers coming back to back, and that genuinely scared myself and Sharon (SOL).
School: It was a casual school week. The main stressor was my group's Physics lab report which wasn't started till Friday and it was due Friday (Haunt was the same day), but we were able to finish it with everyone also working their jobs that day.
Student Ambassadors: Monday started out with the typical Welcome Desk shift. Tuesday Leo (Student Ambassador) and I worked the Latinx Film Festival, the Inclusion Fair was also going on so we got to help with that as well. Wednesday, I had a prospective tour. This was the largest group I've had for a prospective tour. Luckily they were an interactive group with students from so many different majors. Thursday Brooke (Student Ambassador) and I worked the French Film Festival. It was a lot of fun, it was my first time working it. There were 50 people that showed up to this animated film. Friday, I had my One-on-One with Meghan. Saturday was probably one of my favorite events. The UCBA Dash. Maddie (Student Ambassador) and I were stationed together to cheer people on. We got a hold of a speaker so we were cheering people on while singing and dancing to music! They all smiled when they saw us cheering them on.
